A zoomorphic Dogon bronze sculpture of a rabbit with interesting physiognomy such as the foot position and body posture signaling an inquisitive perseverance, with a rounded back and the large head slightly protruding, slightly open mouth, long ears, round beady eyes and pierced nostrils; encrusted age patina on the bronze surface.
During the research for the classification and identification of this figure, omly one example of zoomorphic animal representation was found in the Dogon catalogue, which shows a certain similarity in the head area. This suggests that this type of zoomorphic sculpture is very rare.
