A Yoruba maternity figure, sitting on a stool resting on a circular plinth, sitting on her two thighs are two smaller figures one is holding itself onto the mother back, she is sitting upright, her thick cylindric neck is carrying her rounded head, the features of which are composed of bulbous mouth, stout nose and large rounded eyes, vertical and horizontal scarifications can be noticed on her cheeks, her hairdo is conical in shape, remnants of colorful pigments, in particular kaolin, several age- cracks, the base is made stronger with metallic parts.
