A fragmented male Dogon sculpture standing on a circular base, known as the Dogon Bombou-Toro, characterized by slender abstracted proportions, the legs slightly bent, the hands extending from the bent arm and resting in a symmetrical position above the thighs, an elongated torso that finds the end in the angular shoulders, which becomes the chest with rounded shapes in front, from there slender arms descend, helmet-like head shape with abstract facial features and crested hairstyle. Reduced facial features with jewelry band across forehead; fragmented brownish encrusted patina, probably caused by intense heat and aging.
