A Baule or Yaure mask of oval, hollowed form with metal plates on the cheeks, a slightly open mouth beneath a slender nose and high arched brows, heavy-lidded eyes with sliteyes pierced through, a carved zig-zag line around the fascial plane, the coiffure three-parted and striated, on top a handle-like staff with a fine touch-patina; brown to blackened surface.
