Didier Amevi Ahadsi is a self-taught artist from Togo, whose inspiration ranges from voodoo religious practices to a series of personal narratives.
"Didier Ahadsi comes from the Ewe people, an ethnic group that is still closely connected to the traditional values of Africa and the environment of the artist was and is strongly influenced spiritually and stands in the field of tension between increasing modernization and old African tradition."*
