A rare female Guro sculpture

A rare female Guro sculpture, Ivory Coast, from the Bouaflé region, one of the most requested regions of the Guro people, standing on block-shaped feet, slightly bent legs, prominent buttocks, a slender torso with a prominent abdomen with a small pointed navel, the breasts conical, hanging shoulders, the arms ending up in flattened hands close to the torso, the head ovoid with fine facial features, framed by fine, curved pigtails in open work, fine shiny patina with significant traces of use.
