A female Baule sculpture posted on a conical stool in a slightly bent forward position, holding a vessel in its hands, the disproportionately large head with protruding slit-mouth and slender nose, framed by bulging eyes beneath high arched brows, scarifications all over the sculpture; blackened, partly glossy surface, wearing a loincloth and decorated with small, colourful pearls around the waist and the neck.
