A sculpture related to Chamba, Northern Nigeria, of high abstract zoomorphic form, legs slightly displaced in cubistic form, supporting a long cylindrical upper part of the body, thin long arms, to the left and to the right of a pronounced navel, at the upper end of the arms, two small breasts with ornaments, short neck with head piece corresponding to the shape of the upper part of the body in width, the mop of hair repeating the cubistic form of the neck; dark brownish patina, heavy hard wood. Provenance Mama NSANGOU.
