A Jimini mask from the region Dikodougou, north-central Ivory Coast, of hollowed form, an elongated head, the oval mouth pierced through, the mouth framed by three linear scarification marks, crescent-shaped eyes, displaying symmetric projections from the side of the face, a hooked protrusion extending down from the forehead to the chin, the mask pierced through at the rim for attachment; blackened surface with traces of white and blue pigments, signs of age and use, several cracks.
