A Jimini Mask, Ivory Coast, Katiola region, village Fana, of hollowed form, the Jimini people are a subgroup of the Senufo, with two curved and slightly bent buffalo-horns, framed by pointed ears and wooden extensions like the well known “Kpelie” masks of the Senufo; fine, aged patina of resinous colour, incl. stand.
