Description
A female Baule sculpture, Ivory Coast, region Bouaflé, seated on the rounded rectangular stool, a slender torso, hanging and tapering breasts, framed by bent arms and holding a vessel in the hands, thick neck surmounted by large oval head, scarification patterns all over the sculpture; blackened, glossy patina.
