Description
A female Baule maternity, posted on a two legs stool, holding a child in its hands, the breasts hanging and tapering, the hands holding the buttocks of the child, a thick neck supporting a large oval head with fine fascial features, a small pointed mouth, beneath a slender nose, framed by coffee-bean-eyes, on top an asymmetric striated coiffure, scarification patterns on chest and on the fascial plane; blackened, shiny patina with remnant of oxidised oil.
