A Baule Mblo portrait mask with three birds, of hollowed oval form, the chin with a pointed goatee, a pointed round mouth beneath a slender nose, high arched brows, the eyebrows and the nose are connected in the middle by two scarification marks, pierced crescent-shaped eyes, rhomboical scarification marks on the forehead and the temples, C-shaped ears, a braided hairstyle in seven parts, on the top of the head three bird heads, the mask is pierced through at the rim for attachment; fine dark brown patina with white pigments on eyes and ears and red pigment on the mouth, traces of age and ritual use, incl. stand.
