A Baule mask, from the region Yamoussokro, of hollowed oval form, a pointed mouth showing two rows of sharp teeth, emphasized philtrum, a slender triangular nose, slit eyes, a overhanging forehead, the whole covered with scarification marks of varied geometric motifs; brown patina, traces of age and ritual use, Provenance Mohamed Belo Garba.
